Catering Operations Manager

Pelican Events and Catering is seeking a highly skilled Catering Supervisor to join our team.
Responsibilities- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely delivery of food and kitchen supplies.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, contributing to the success of our events and catering services.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction and teamwork.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
Experience is an asset, and the ability to work a variety of shifts, including on-call work, is required. The successful candidate will be required to work in a physically demanding environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
