Catering Operations Manager

Pelican Events and Catering is seeking a skilled Catering Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our catering services.
- Requisition Supplies: Source and procure food and kitchen supplies to meet the needs of our events.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our catering staff, ensuring they are trained in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize our catering operations.
- Tray Assembly and Delivery: Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
As a Catering Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail in a physically demanding role.
Requirements:- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
- Language: English.
- Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work is required.
