About the Role

FESTIVAL FOOD MART is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grocery Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate our sales team to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, cash handling, and store appearance.
  • Merchandising and Visual Displays: Create visually appealing displays and ensure that our store is well-stocked and merchandised to meet customer needs.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or grocery store environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment

FESTIVAL FOOD MART is a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment. As a Grocery Store Supervisor, you will be required to work in a non-smoking, air-conditioned environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
