Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our branch, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers and prospects, identifying their needs, and providing advice and guidance on financial solutions that meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized service to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify customer needs and initiate referrals to BMO colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Support customers with banking services, including handling transactions and providing information on available digital and self-serve options.
  • Collaborate with branch colleagues to achieve business objectives and deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with personal, commercial, and partner offers to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the branch customer experience by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Adhere to risk and compliance processes and policies to ensure the safeguarding of customer assets and the maintenance of their privacy.
Requirements
  • No prior experience necessary; post-secondary degree or certification in a related field of study is desirable.
  • High-level knowledge of personal, commercial, and partner offers, and how each can best serve customers' individual needs.
  • Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and connections with customers.
  • Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions to refer to specialists.
  • Passionate commitment to helping customers and delivering a personal experience.
