Genconian's Transport Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive Safely: Operate a straight or articulated truck to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods, ensuring they are properly secured and protected during transit.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, and perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Certificates and Licenses: Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Personal Suitability: Judgement, Organized, Reliability.
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working on the road, often for extended periods. You will be required to work 40 to 50 hours per week, with regular breaks and time off.
