Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiological Technologist to join our team as a Radiological Imaging Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing special procedure examinations in CT and radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental policy and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and completing requisitions, entering relevant data into the radiology information system, preparing examination trays and patients for specific procedures
  • Operating computerized imaging equipment, monitoring patient during procedures, and monitoring equipment performance
  • Maintaining accurate records, reporting malfunctioning equipment to the Supervisor, and ensuring compliance with departmental standards
  • Serving as a mentor and trainer for new staff members, participating in quality control duties, and contributing to the Continuous Quality Improvement program
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Sciences (CAMRT)
  • Completion of an advanced specialty program in Computed Tomography and one year of recent experience, including supervisory experience and experience in radiology procedures or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification - Basic Life Support (BCLS) level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
Estimated Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience
