GHD is seeking a talented Junior Geotechnical Engineering Graduate to join our team in Mississauga or Markham, Ontario. As a key member of our geotechnical engineering team, you will play a vital role in a wide range of projects, including in-situ testing, field investigations, design, and technical report preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field investigations and site inspections to gather data and information
  • Assist senior staff in engineering analysis, design, and reporting
  • Manage field works and sub-contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Contribute to the preparation of proposals, work plans, and cost estimates
  • Coordinate and manage various geotechnical projects to ensure successful outcomes

Requirements:

  • A university degree in Geotechnical, Civil Engineering, or Geological Engineering
  • Strong report writing and verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of relevant software such as gINT, MS Office, and Geotechnical software like GeoStudio and Rocscience
  • Ability to work as a team member and independently
  • Ability to work extended hours and travel
  • A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
