We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at GHD. As a key member of our geotechnical team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality projects and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field investigations, site inspections, and prepare technical borehole records and field reports.
  • Assist senior staff in engineering analysis, design, and reporting.
  • Manage field works and sub-contractors.
  • Assist the geotechnical team in preparing proposals, work plans, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate and manage various geotechnical projects.

Requirements:

  • A university degree in Geotechnical, Civil Engineering, or Geological Engineering.
  • Strong report writing and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of working with relevant software such as gINT, MS Office, and Geotechnical software such as GeoStudio, Rocscience.
  • Ability to work as a team member as well as independently.
  • Ability to work in extended hours and travel.
  • A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
