Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Edgewood Health Network Inc. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessments of patients with mental health and addiction-related issues
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with statutory and regulatory standards
  • Administer medications and provide guidance to patients and families
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide supportive counseling to patients and families
  • Participate in ongoing health teaching and education for patients
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nurses with pharmacological training
  • Current registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Province of Nova Scotia
  • Knowledge of and experience with team-based, person-centered care approaches
