Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Registration Clerk to join our team at the Ophthalmology Clinic. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for scheduling patient appointments, registering patients, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records
  • Register patients and ensure accurate demographic information
  • Perform referral functions, including data entry and paperwork processing
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to patient inquiries
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to clinic policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Grade 12, plus two (2) years' recent experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to keyboard 45 wpm and knowledge of medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
