Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Equipment Operator to join our team in Ajax, ON. As a key member of our yard operations team, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to load and move vehicles, ensuring efficient and safe yard operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a loader to load and move vehicles to designated areas
  • Remove rows of vehicles to ensure access and maintenance of the yard
  • Crush vehicles as required
  • Perform regular equipment inspections and maintenance
  • Mark vehicles for inventory and control purposes
  • Load crushed vehicles into delivery trucks
  • Perform forklift tasks as needed
  • Assist customers with transporting heavy parts
  • Perform laborer tasks when loader tasks are completed

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy equipment
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Strong safety record and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing weather conditions
  • Valid forklift operator card and loader operator training (assets)
