Food Service Team Lead

THE WINGS ON FLAME RESTAURANT LTD. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Train new staff members in their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies to meet the needs of our menu.
- Hire and manage a team of food service staff.
- Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality standards.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Establish and manage work schedules to ensure seamless operations.
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Client-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Supports the social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees.
- Recruits and supports displaced individuals, including those from Ukraine and Afghanistan.
- Assists with foreign credential recognition and offers mentorship programs.
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth.
- Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees.
