Bridges of Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Imam to join our team. As a key member of our organization, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading religious services, supervising staff, and administering rites of faith.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular religious services and ceremonies
- Supervise and support office and volunteer staff
- Administer rites of faith, including marriages and funerals
- Develop and implement programs of religious education
- Deliver sermons and other talks to promote spirituality
- Perform administrative and office tasks
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Confidential security clearance
- Excellent interpersonal and judgment skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The successful candidate will work in a correctional facility, providing spiritual guidance and support to inmates and staff. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong organizational and communication skills.
