Bridges of Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Imam to join our team. As an Imam, you will be responsible for leading religious services, supervising office and volunteer staff, and administering rites of faith such as marriages and funerals.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct religious services and lead prayers
- Supervise and manage office and volunteer staff
- Administer rites of faith, including marriages and funerals
- Develop and implement programs of religious education
- Provide spiritual guidance and counseling to individuals and groups
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position is permanent and the hours of work will be 16 to 48 hours per month.
Language:The language of work is bilingual and the successful candidate will be required to work in both official languages.
