Bridges of Canada Inc. is seeking a qualified Imam to join our team. As a spiritual leader, you will be responsible for conducting religious services, supervising office and volunteer staff, and administering rites of faith such as marriages and funerals.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct religious services and lead prayer sessions
- Supervise and support office and volunteer staff
- Administer rites of faith, including marriages and funerals
- Develop and implement programs of religious education
- Deliver sermons and other talks to promote spirituality
- Perform administrative and office activities
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Efficient interpersonal skills and judgment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Confidential security clearance
The successful candidate will work in a correctional facility, conducting religious services and providing spiritual guidance to inmates. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.
