We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated Medical Laboratory Technologists to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical laboratory science.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are currently in the process of accelerating their Medical Laboratory career and seeking further support. We are providing exam preparation and bridging program support for individuals who have completed their Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) program and are preparing to write their exam for their second or third attempt.
As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will work with a team of medical professionals under a collaborative care model, striving to improve patient care throughout Nova Scotia. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals and community-based locations, and will be supported in your career development through our comprehensive training and education programs.

About YouWe are looking for individuals who possess the following qualifications and characteristics:
- Graduate from an approved program in Medical Laboratory Technologist
- Eligible for licensure with NSCMLT
- Willing to enroll in the MLT Bridging Program and the Medical Laboratory Sciences National Certification Exam Preparation Course
- Registration with CSMLS
- Ability to work shiftwork and travel when required
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
