Medical Laboratory Technologist Exam Support Specialist

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to support Medical Laboratory Technologists in their exam preparation and bridging program. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist Exam Support Specialist, you will work with a team of medical professionals to provide comprehensive support to individuals preparing for their Medical Laboratory Technologist exam.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Medical Laboratory Sciences and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for providing exam preparation and bridging program support to individuals, as well as facilitating the Medical Laboratory Sciences National Certification Exam Preparation Course.

About YouWe are looking for individuals who have a strong background in Medical Laboratory Sciences and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for providing exam preparation and bridging program support to individuals, as well as facilitating the Medical Laboratory Sciences National Certification Exam Preparation Course.
- Must be a graduate from an approved program in Medical Laboratory Technologist
- Must be eligible for licensure with NSCMLT
- Must be willing to enroll in the MLT Bridging Program and the Medical Laboratory Sciences National Certification Exam Preparation Course within the Michener Institute
- Registration with CSMLS
- Ability to work shiftwork (weekends and holidays as required)
- Willingness to travel when required
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Bridging Program begins January 7, 2025 and ends April 25, 2025 followed by an 8-week work placement.
Compensation and Benefits$37.54 hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan. (Permanent and Long Assignments only)
