Job Summary

This is a dynamic role that involves providing exceptional customer service and supporting the team in achieving company goals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to learn manual and automated systems/tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing the team by supporting training, coaching, and recognition while maintaining confidentiality and trust.
  • Effectively communicate and support the team with huddles, product knowledge, corporate policies, and procedures, as well as Health and Safety.
  • Provide superior customer service and support Farm Boy's vision of the best fresh shopping experience.
  • Serve customers, merchandise and rotate products, handle breaks, and maintain department cleanliness.
  • Support office management, including completing inventory and orders, invoices, scheduling, and payroll.
Requirements:
  • Typically requires completion of a post-secondary program with an emphasis in business, plus a minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible supervisory or management experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Clear and effective communication style, both written and oral.
  • Good judgment and decision-making abilities while communicating with customers and Farm Boy team members.
  • Ability to learn manual and automated systems/tools.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Work Environment:

This role requires standing and walking for long periods, lifting, carrying, or handling heavy objects, and adapting to temperature changes. Accommodation is available upon request for applicants and employees with disabilities.
