About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cook to join our team at GUAC MEXI GRILL. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is handled and cooked safely.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and train them in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, and ensure that all areas are clean and safe for staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
