Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Fresh Box Sushi. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food preparation and service staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Establish work schedules to meet business needs and ensure adequate staffing levels.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Client-focused and team-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
