Job Summary

BYO FOOD ENTERPRISE LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our team of food service staff. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory and ensure that our kitchen is equipped to handle high volumes of food preparation.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting our high standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Hire and manage food service staff to ensure that we have the right people in place to meet our business needs.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis to ensure that they are informed of our progress and any issues that need to be addressed.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Food Safety Certificate and Serving It Right Certificate are required.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate our food service staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
