About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ocean Freight Coordinator to join our team at G.E. Forwarders Ltd. As an Ocean Freight Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth movement of supplies and materials between departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Coordinate Freight Movement: Track the movement of supplies and materials between departments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Prepare and Maintain Reports: Develop and maintain progress reports, as well as other relevant documentation, to support the team's efforts.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely solutions to any issues that may arise.
  • Requisition and Order Materials: Procure and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support the team's operations.
  • Follow-up on Issues: Investigate and resolve any issues related to work orders, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Keep Track of Shipments: Monitor and track shipments to ensure that they are delivered on time and in good condition.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
