Jewellery Store Manager

Nanda Jewellers Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Jewellery Store Manager to lead our retail team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of our jewellery store, including sales, customer service, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and Control Daily Operations: Ensure the smooth operation of the store, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
- Evaluate Daily Operations: Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and staff performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance staff productivity.
- Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Supervise and motivate staff, assign tasks, and provide training and development opportunities.
- Study Market Research and Trends: Stay up-to-date with market trends, consumer demand, and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
- Determine Merchandise and Services: Select and procure merchandise, and develop services to meet customer needs.
- Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and execute marketing plans to promote the store and its products.
- Plan Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Manage the store's budget, track revenues and expenses, and make adjustments as needed.
- Determine Staffing Requirements: Assess staff needs and make recommendations for recruitment and training.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a retail management role.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Jewellery store.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Adaptability, analytical, collaborative, creativity, efficiency, energetic, goal-oriented, hardworking, integrity, outgoing, positive attitude, proactive, quick learner, time management, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, team player, patience, ability to multitask.
