About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dspot Dessert Cafe. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that all orders are accurate and presented to the highest standard.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring that all staff are adequately trained and prepared for their roles.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education and 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to excellence.
