Job Title: Dessert Cafe Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dessert Cafe Supervisor to join our team at D Spot Dessert Cafe. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dessert cafe, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Train Staff: Train our staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent service to our customers.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage our food service staff, ensuring that we have the right people in the right roles to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the high standards that our customers expect from us.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, ensuring that our customers receive a positive experience every time they visit us.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that we have the information we need to make informed business decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, customer feedback, and other key performance indicators, ensuring that our management team has the information they need to make informed decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Work Environment:

Our dessert cafe is a fast-paced environment where you will be working under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding role.
