About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dspot Dessert Cafe. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our cafe, including supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring presentation and quality meet our high standards.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring efficient use of staff resources and minimizing downtime.
Work Environment and Requirements

This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive work environment.

This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of Dspot Dessert Cafe.
