**Job Title:** Commercial Banking Team Lead

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Commercial Banking Team Lead to join our team at NBC. As a Commercial Banking Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of Commercial Account Managers and managing a senior portfolio of commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Manage a team of Commercial Account Managers, creating an engaging work environment that fosters the achievement of objectives.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients through various acquisition and retention activities.
  • Business Development: Optimize sector efficiency, productivity, and profitability by implementing business growth strategies.
  • Market Impact: Establish a strategy with partners to maximize market impact and improve sector visibility.
  • Business Planning: Participate in drafting the annual business plan for the market and manage its execution.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage a mid-market portfolio.
  • Risk Management: Strive for balance between risk management and profitability in business development.
  • Compliance: Ensure that compliance rules and operating procedures are adhered to and applied.
  • Market Development: Keep abreast of new market developments and ensure that the products and services offered meet clients' changing needs and remain competitive.
  • Continuous Improvement: Be proactive in identifying new ways of working and encourage continuous improvement and the use of new tools.

Requirements:

  • Education: Hold a bachelor's degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience or a master's degree and 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience: Experience in personnel management and/or coaching.
  • Background: Strong background in commercial credit and business development.
  • Skills: Good understanding of various banking systems, strong ability to influence others, good leadership skills, and ability to manage priorities.
  • Autonomy: Sense of autonomy as well as organizational and change management skills.
