We are a fast-paced food service company seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Culinary Specialist will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, and supervising kitchen staff to ensure efficient and high-quality food preparation.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning: Develop and implement menus that meet customer demands and nutritional standards.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, ensuring presentation and quality meet company standards.
- Staff Supervision: Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and food handlers, to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ordering supplies as needed.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure kitchen and work areas are clean and meet health and safety standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
The Culinary Specialist will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure to meet customer demands.
Personal Qualities- Attention to Detail: Maintain high standards of quality and presentation in food preparation.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Team Player: Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
The Culinary Specialist will have experience in international cuisine, with a focus on Korean specialties.
