We are a fast-paced food service company seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, and supervising kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning: Plan menus and estimate food requirements to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Culinary Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen operations.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Work Setting: Rural area or fast food outlet/concession.
- Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
