We are seeking a skilled and responsible Grease Trap Vehicle Operator to join our team. This role involves the collection and transportation of waste from grease traps at commercial kitchens and restaurants.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate a specialized vehicle to collect and transport waste from grease traps.
- Ensure proper loading, unloading, and disposal of waste materials in compliance with local regulations.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of the grease trap collection vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of collections and services performed.
- Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations during operations.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients at collection sites.
- Valid truck driver's license (Class 5 or equivalent).
- Previous experience driving and operating specialized vehicles is a plus.
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and vehicle maintenance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Legally able to obtain employment in Canada without sponsorship.
- Detail-oriented.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Understanding and following directions in English.
