About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Vehicle Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Vehicle Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the maintenance and repair of our fleet of vehicles, which includes trucks and trailers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in vehicle mechanics, with experience in tire mounting and balancing, brake system maintenance, and trailer component repair. They will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, as they will work closely with other technicians and support staff to ensure that all repairs are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure they are safe and reliable for operation.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Work safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in vehicle maintenance or repair.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
