Job Summary

GUAC MEXI GRILL is seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our dining room staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and package take-out food.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, load buspans and trays, operate dishwashers, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Supply Management: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, remove kitchen garbage and trash, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
