Job Summary
As a Warehouse Technician at Apotex, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating the carousel system to pick orders and restock, ensuring accurate product, lot numbers, and quantities are recorded in SAP and Nova.
- Packing shipments using SAP, verifying correct product, lot numbers, and quantities, and ensuring proper order and shipping labels are attached.
- Picking orders from overstock and ensuring correct lot numbers and quantities are picked using the RF unit.
- Shipping orders using a computerized freight management system.
- Moving materials to optimize warehouse space.
- Operating forklifts and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
- Receiving materials and verifying accuracy of shipments by checking for overages, shortages, and damaged goods.
- Notifying Inventory Analyst of any inventory discrepancies.
- Ensuring all work is performed in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Documents (SODs), and Safe Work Procedures (SWPs).
- Adhering to internal and external regulations, including those set by the Health Products and Food Branch Inspectorate (HPFBI) and the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA).
- Maintaining commitment to corporate mission and initiatives.
- Participating in internal and external audits, inspections, and assessments as necessary.
- Working as a team member to achieve outcomes.
- Performing all work in support of corporate values, including Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion.
- Performing all work in accordance with established regulatory and compliance requirements.
Job Requirements
- Fluent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of material handling equipment is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of computer operations.
- Ability to work various shifts and/or overtime when needed.
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- No fear of heights.
