Job Summary
As a Warehouse Technician at Apotex, you will be responsible for performing material movement duties in the warehouse, including physical receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the carousel system to pick orders and re-stock, ensuring accuracy and updating SAP and Nova.
- Pack shipments using SAP, verifying product, lot numbers, and quantities, and checking shipping labels.
- Pick orders from overstock and ensure correct lot numbers and quantities using the RF unit.
- Ship orders using a computerized freight management system.
- Move materials to optimize warehouse space.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Physically receive materials and verify accuracy of shipments.
- Notify Inventory Analyst of inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), Standard Operating Documents (SOD's), and Safe Work Procedures (SWP's).
- Adhere to internal and external regulations.
- Maintain commitment to corporate mission and values.
- Participate in audits and inspections as necessary.
- Work as a team member to achieve outcomes.
Requirements
- Fluent English written and oral communication.
- Basic knowledge of computer operations.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Willingness to work various shifts and/or overtime.
