Role Overview

You will be a key member of our team, providing expert advice and guidance to clients on their employee benefits plans. Your goal will be to deliver exceptional service and support to our clients, helping them navigate the complex world of employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners;
  • Provide ongoing education and support to clients on their benefits plans;
  • Develop and implement customized benefits solutions for clients;
  • Collaborate with internal resources to deliver exceptional client service;
  • Identify opportunities to grow our business and expand our services to clients;
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and share your knowledge with the team.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in the employee benefits industry;
  • Completed post-secondary education or equivalent combination of experience and training;
  • Life Licensed (LLQP) or willingness to obtain;
  • Bonus points for CEBS designation or working towards it;
  • Strong understanding of underwriting concepts and techniques;
  • Knowledge of flexible benefits and ability to design and implement strategic initiatives;
  • Proven track record of managing complex client relationships;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to influence and negotiate;
  • Capable of working remotely and/or from office base interchangeably;
  • Travel may be required;
  • Maintenance of a valid driver's license.
