About the Role

ECCO Supply is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our sales and business development team, you will be responsible for estimating and quoting commercial and industrial projects, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Quoting
    • Complete engineered drawing take-offs of commercial grilles, registers, and diffusers (GRD) and mechanical equipment
    • Assemble accurate and timely tenders, including quantities and sell prices for commercial GRD and mechanical equipment
    • Project management once successful job tenders have been awarded
  • Business Development
    • Identify and solicit potential clients
    • Assist and share in customer sales and technical calls requiring assistance
    • Promote and secure business from all aspects of the HVAC industry
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure all customers are treated in a professional manner and attend to queries, disputes, etc. promptly
    • Provide timely feedback to supervisor regarding performance
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of all project tender quotations and activity reports submitted
    • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines
    • Participate in annual inventory count
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial estimating or sales role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment and HVAC systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
