About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Neptunus Yachts International Inc. as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Transportation: Coordinate and schedule transportation conveyances to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Prepare Shipping Documents: Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents accurately and efficiently.
  • Container Assembly: Assemble containers and crates for shipping and receiving.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an internal record-keeping system to track inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Goods Inspection: Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Shortage and Damage Reporting: Record shortages and reject damaged goods to prevent further issues.
  • Goods Routing: Route goods to appropriate storage areas to optimize storage and minimize delays.
  • Packing and Unpacking: Pack goods to be shipped and unpack goods received to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
  • Shipping Instructions: Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments to ensure accurate delivery.
  • Loading and Unloading: Oversee the loading and unloading of goods to ensure safe and efficient handling.
Requirements
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in database software, spreadsheet software (MS Excel), email software (MS Outlook), and word processing software (MS Word).
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with dollies and hand trucks, industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, and pallet lifters.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and handle heavy loads.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, initiative, judgment, organized, reliable, and a team player.
  • Experience: Experience as an asset, with a permanent position and 40 hours per week.
