About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Neptunus Yachts International Inc. as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Transportation: Coordinate and schedule the transportation of goods and materials to and from our facilities.
  • Prepare Shipping Documents: Prepare and process bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Container Assembly and Inspection: Assemble and inspect containers and crates to ensure they are in good condition and meet our quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and track the movement of goods and materials.
  • Shortages and Damaged Goods: Identify and record shortages and damaged goods, and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Goods Routing and Storage: Route goods to the appropriate storage areas and ensure they are properly labeled and stored.
  • Packing and Unpacking: Pack goods to be shipped and unpack goods received, ensuring they are properly handled and stored.
  • Loading and Unloading: Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring they are properly secured and handled.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in logistics, shipping, and receiving is an asset.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficiency in database software, spreadsheet software (such as MS Excel), and other relevant computer applications.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with dollies and hand trucks, industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts, and pallet lifters.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail. Ability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, initiative, judgment, organized, reliable, team player.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
