Position Overview

As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist at Neptunus Yachts International Inc., you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure that all shipments are processed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Coordination: Schedule and oversee transportation for incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare essential shipping documents including bills of lading and invoices.
  • Inventory Inspection: Inspect and verify incoming merchandise against shipping documents.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate internal records of inventory and shipping activities.
  • Goods Handling: Pack and unpack items as necessary, ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Loading Oversight: Supervise the loading and unloading processes to guarantee safety and efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with database software, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Equipment Experience: Proficient in using dollies, hand trucks, and industrial lift trucks.
Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle heavy loads and meet tight deadlines. You will be expected to maintain a high level of accuracy while performing repetitive tasks.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
