About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations M&A Manager/Senior Manager to join our team at KPMG Canada. As a key member of our Operations M&A team, you will play a critical role in helping companies identify and deliver real value from major deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the operational due diligence process for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration and value realization.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize business operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on operational matters, including process improvement, change management, and organizational design.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure our clients receive the highest level of service.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, M&A, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in leading operational due diligence, process improvement, and change management initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of business operations, finance, and accounting.
