The Role: Manufacturing Systems Engineer (MSE)

We are seeking an expert manufacturing technology specialist to join our Information Technology team in the Toronto brewery. As an MSE, you will be the subject matter expert and act as the primary point of contact & partner to the business on all projects and issues related to infrastructure. This person will work closely with corporate security, application, infrastructure, and engineering teams. You will also partner with our IT service providers to maintain and update the IT infrastructure throughout the brewery to ensure high system availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the management and maintenance of AD, Azure, VDI, Office 365, VMWare, Cisco Networking and other IT related software and hardware in a high-speed production environment.
  • E nsures sustained integrity and stability of brewery IT Infrastructure in a 24x7 operating environment through strong governance and best practices.
  • Responsible for IT infrastructure asset and change management.
  • Provides specialized IT technical support and consulting services to all areas of the brewery including management, team members, and consultants working onsite and remotely.
  • Ensures all hardware, operating systems, software, and procedures align with MCBC and compliance standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or related field is preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing experience (3-5 years) is required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Win2K16/WIN2k19 & patch management, VM Ware, Dell Wyse Management, Virtual Desktop Images (VDI).
  • Able to complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities.
  • Act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy.
  • Confident, diplomatic, professional, and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
