Job Title: Exhibition Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Exhibition Coordinator to join our team at Calgary Exhibition and Stampede Limited.

Job Summary:

The Exhibition Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of our exhibitions, including planning, budgeting, and logistics. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about events and exhibition management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk management plans to ensure a safe and successful exhibition.
  • Prepare and present budgets to stakeholders, ensuring accurate financial planning and management.
  • Review and negotiate bids from vendors and suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial reports.
  • Plan and coordinate trade shows and exhibits, including venue selection, catering, and audio-visual requirements.
  • Plan and manage schedules, goals, and objectives for exhibitions and events.
  • Research and design special events programs, including marketing and promotional materials.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient event management.
  • Manage event logistics, including transportation, accommodation, and catering arrangements.
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Perform financial calculations, including costing and budgeting.
  • Coordinate competitive programs and events.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in exhibition management or a related field is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Leadership skills and ability to supervise staff.
