Job Title: Exhibition Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Exhibition Coordinator to join our team at Calgary Exhibition and Stampede Limited.

Job Summary:

The Exhibition Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of trade shows and exhibitions, including planning, budgeting, and logistics. This is a key role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk management plans to ensure a safe and successful event
  • Prepare and manage budgets for trade shows and exhibitions
  • Review and negotiate bids from vendors and suppliers
  • Assist in the preparation of event schedules, goals, and objectives
  • Plan and arrange for trade shows and exhibitions, including logistics and transportation
  • Research and design special events programs
  • Develop policies and procedures for event management
  • Manage event logistics, including vendor management and coordination
  • Supervise office and volunteer staff as needed
  • Perform financial calculations, such as costing and budgeting
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership skills and ability to supervise staff
