Exhibition Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Exhibition Coordinator to join our team at Calgary Exhibition and Stampede Limited. As an Exhibition Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing various trade shows and exhibitions, ensuring seamless logistics and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk management plans to ensure a safe and successful event.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, reviewing bids and negotiating costs to ensure optimal results.
  • Assist in budget preparation and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Plan and arrange for trade shows and exhibits, including scheduling, goal setting, and objective development.
  • Research and design special events programs, developing policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
  • Manage event logistics, supervising office and volunteer staff to ensure a smooth event experience.
  • Perform financial calculations, such as costing and budgeting, to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Coordinate competitive programs, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
  • Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and tight deadlines.
  • Leadership skills and ability to supervise office and volunteer staff.
  • Experience in trade shows and exhibitions, with a focus on logistics and operations.
