Job Summary

TDOT HAULAGE is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Transportation Management: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and safe transportation.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Logistics Coordination: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Cargo Security: Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform brake adjustments, perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads
