Job Summary

TDOT HAULAGE is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Management: Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of tires, lights, brakes, and equipment to ensure optimal vehicle condition.
  • Customer Service: Address customer concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Logistics Coordination: Communicate with central dispatch to coordinate transportation schedules and ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, ensuring proper securing and safety of cargo.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle payments for goods and perform other administrative duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train or equivalent experience
  • Certifications: AZ class license and valid driver's license
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, sit for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Personal Qualities: Effective interpersonal skills, clear and concise oral communication, strong written communication abilities, adaptability, and sound judgment
