Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver-Supervisor to join our team at 2497518 Ontario INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our transportation department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Operations Management: Monitor and control the movement of goods, ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to new drivers, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation, ensuring that all problems are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all information is shared and understood.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
