Job Summary

MGR INFOTECH LIMITED is seeking a skilled Network Support Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and administering local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and mainframe networks
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software
  • Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal network performance
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure business continuity
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization, networking software, networking hardware, and networking security
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
  • Basic security clearance and bondable
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
