About the Role

VIP Pre-Cast Concrete Ltd is seeking a skilled Concrete and Cement Finishers Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our concrete finishing crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of concrete finishing crew members
    • Ensure that all crew members are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties
  • Project Management
    • Plan and coordinate the execution of concrete finishing projects
    • Estimate costs and materials required for each project
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all concrete finishing work meets the company's quality standards
    • Identify and address any quality control issues
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all crew members follow health and safety regulations
    • Identify and address any health and safety risks
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with crew members, project managers, and other stakeholders
    • Provide regular updates on project progress and any issues that may arise
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in concrete finishing or a related field
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
