We're seeking a highly skilled Tire Service Professional to join our team at the Côté Gold Project. As a Tire Service Technician, you'll be responsible for performing tire service on customer equipment, collaborating with mine maintenance staff, and ensuring tire inspection and maintenance programs are meticulously upheld.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform tire service on customer equipment, adhering to Kal Tire's high standards of quality and safety.
- Collaborate with mine maintenance staff to conduct maintenance on tools and equipment, and ensure tire inspection and maintenance programs are rigorously adhered to.
- Respond to after-hours callouts as directed, demonstrating best practices and continuous improvement in all operations.
- Expertly dismount and mount tires for various mining vehicles, ensuring safety and load requirements are met.
- Operate heavy-duty tire servicing equipment and tools, conducting repairs, inspections, and calibrations with precision and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain compliance with Health, Safety & Environment regulations, reporting hazards and contributing to maintaining hygiene standards.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of related experience with direct experience as a tire fitter preferred.
- OTR service training and certifications desired. Basic tire fitting skills – Tire fitter Levels 1 & 2 preferred.
- Experience operating and maintaining tire manipulators, forklifts, and service trucks.
- Experience working in an environment where safety procedures are a key part of daily operations.
